sdafjkghjk vent my feels— I made a list of Hyuu/hugh character spoilers with super derp doodles- but i’m not covering everything since I tried to avoid the main plot; There were more encounters than this list and i’m using my memory haha

Also, i’m no japanese expert 

• He talks like a bro, it’s informal. Lots of japanese equivalents of “yeah” and more exclamation marks than others! but hype not like Jun/barry. Shows how close he is to you. 
•  When he decides something, he is really resolute about it.”No matter what_______”
• You end up searching for plasma a lot through the game due to him. Helping him pursue plasma is what moves the main plot along
• 
• When you vs him as a rival, he’s not exactly trying best you like other rivals. He more approaches you like a friend, kinda “Lets see how much stronger we have both become!” When you beat him he praises you, something like “That was a fun(good) battle! You’ve become so strong! But I’ll become even stronger too!”
• You are motivating each other rather than trying to see who is better. I think that some people will be disappointed about that it’s not a competition… but I personally think it’s precious.
• 
• One of the english trailers already revealed it, but Hyuu didn’t get his starter from Bianca (he also didn’t know what she looked like, he will help you find a big hat girl) He raised his starter from an egg, what a mom
• His mom says he’s a type that builds up anger (stress).
• 
• His room, his sister’s below. can;t see it here but his room has the same colours as his C-Gear haha
• Both him and his little sister tell you to treat your pokemon preciously
• 
• Near the beginning you decide to be each other’s support (how sweet!) “Lend me your strength” is said a bit in the game- by not only Hyuu, but other characters.
• 
• cute;; A little while after the gym you meet up again, he’ll talk to you about how “strong” and “know it all” Cheren-san is, and decides he wants to be stronger than him, asking you to support him.
• Fittingly, he’ll give you HM Strength later on. Strength and Surf (given by cheren) are the only HMs that are mandatory to use.
• 
• You get his livecaster number at Castella city. Like other characters, you can call him 95% of the time, when he’s right next to you, even more than 600 calls (´･ω･`) 
• One of the call prompts acts as the games “where to go next” guide and he’ll change what he says a lot as you progress through the game! He’s helpful and generous about giving information.
• The other prompt, when you ask to generally talk- says “…Precious things need to be protected with own strength”. This changes sometimes when the plot changes.
• Man i wish there was a marry me prompt
• You’ll team up with him for double battles more than you’ll vs him. In fact you’ll team up a lot of times with characters- even more than platinum.
• Chucks the biggest angry fit when he encounters plasma at raimon.- “You aren’t liberating! You’re just using that as a pretense to steal!”
• 
• After you see him get so angry… Over some dramatic emotional music he reveals why he wants to get stronger so much- his sister’s purrloin given as a gift got stolen by plasma, he couldn’t do anything about it since it was 5 years ago. Now grown up, he wants to get stronger, get purloin back and make them pay. As his best friend, he relies on you to help him.
• When he figures that the (old) plasma’s house didn’t have his sister’s kitty, he was angry, really disappointed. He’ll “never” forgive and runs out the door. He realises that (old) plasma is trying to repent and is different to the new plasma, but it was the old plasma that stole after all
• He’ll believe in you, beating gyms, will also wait for you, twice outside the gym. If you call him before a gym, he might say something like “Have you got the (latest) badge yet? For someone as good as you, why don’t you go ahead and challenge the gym leader? Well, I already got the badge though!”
• Yeah he’s pissed about anything plasma he goes crazy every time plasma is on the same screen. It’s just like a dog chasing a stick, you……….. better not mess with his sister or you’ll be hated forever.
• Addition to what was in the anime trailer on the “boat”, to a plasma grunt he asked “Was it you!? Who stole my sister’s purrloin 5 years ago, give it back!!!” I guess it’s suggested he asked every single member, he is really resolute about finding it, even if it means beating everyone individually from the whole organisation.

I don’t want to give more detailed spoils because they are bigger spoilers, but just a few more points; 

• Like bros kicking ass you’ll help each other at the final plasma showdowns
• 
• You encounter the, THE purrloin later. It has evolved since then. Not giving details but the events make it… he just really doesn’t know what to make of this… 
• 
• He’s paralyzed in shock. His head is all messed up you have to fight the bad guys alone. When you two are finally alone he’s still speechless, he begs you to chase after plasma. “<two bubbles of silence…………..”>……. Hey…. (mei/kyouhei)……Purrloin, no, Kyurem needs help… this is all too sad.” (< something like that;;).
• Hyuu will get his resolve together and give the now evolved purrloin back to his sister.
• aw man that means he went on the whole journey most for his sis
• After the main plot ” You are /really amazing/—!! Where to go from here? The pokemon league right? You are the most strongest trainer in unova! I would love to prove that to the world”  He still intends to challenge the league too. He believes you can do it.

Wow this list is totally biased…. 

He’s a bit scary when he’s mad, but he is just the best supportive friend ///////
